Rules For Household Behaviour

Behaviour Reason For Behaviour
No Name Calling Name calling hurts people’s feelings and is a form of bullying.
No Swearing Bad language is disrespectful to other people.
No Fighting (Arguing; Angry Shouting, Hitting, Kicking) When you fight someone almost always gets hurt. It takes two people to fight.
Ask Before Going Out It’s important that you can be found quickly in an emergency and that I know you are somewhere safe while in my care.
Don’t Get Into Trouble At Before Or After School Care All people should be treated with equal respect. This means that when you are in the care of others you obey their rules of good behaviour and safety.
No Running Off Running off without adult supervision places your personal safety at risk.
No Back Chat Back chat is disrespectful to other people.
Don’t Hurt Or Tease The Animals The cats, dogs and fish rely on us to feed them and to provide them with a safe place to live. This is an important responsibility and we must ensure they are well treated. Hurting or teasing animals is a form of bullying.
Make Sure You Bring Your Belongings Home Belongings cost money, and someone had to do without something for themself in order to pay for your clothing, toys, books, school stationery and other belongings. They do this because they care about you enough, to want you to have things that other kids have.

To leave your belongings behind shows a lack of appreciation for the effort that someone has taken to provide you with them - be it your Mum, a friend, someone you have never met or a carer.
